	Tezpur Tezpur is located at a distance of 180 kilometer on the north-east side of Guwahati. It is named as a 'City of Blood' after a legendary combat here and it preserved a royal atmosphere here. It is first site of tea plantation in Assam and gives a pleasing stay. It was also known as the City of Blood and Sonitpur in the davs gone by as it placed on the banks ofBrahmaputra on northern side, one can see the best view of this river with many boats and vessels each morning at the time of first streaks of dawn lighting up the skies. Tezpur has a number of very old temples, including Mahavairabha Mandir; and prehistoric Gupta sculptures at the remains of stone temples and a door frame revealed at Da-Parbatia Mandir, it is 5 kilometers on the west side of Tezpur. Chitralekha Udyan which is also known as Cole Park and it is located in the middle of Tezpur. There are 9th century sculptures and dig up sections of the palace belongs to the previous king, Banasura. There is a lake in the park and one can enjoy the boat trips in it. Ther are other architectural remains as well which of them are Mahabhuirab temples, Agnigarh, Bamuni Hills, the Bhairavi and the twin tanks of Bar Pukhnii and Paduin Pukhuri. Eco Camp Eco Camp is located at a distance of 50 kilometer from Tezpur and it is off the road towards Arunachal Pradesh and located on the on the banks of the Jia Bhooroli River. The Eco Camp is a sole experiment by the AssamAnglers' Association and the State's forest department. This Eco Camp is providing many unforgettable moments to the visitors. White water rafting and angling for the protected Mahseer fish is allowed here and the only condition is that, once caught the fish has to be released back into the water. There is good food service available in the camp of modern tents and it is outstanding and the amusing camp fire on the evening times which will continue till late night. Nameri National Park Nameri National Park is a 212 square kilometer vast national park and it is located on the banks of the Bharali River and this river spills over from Assam into Arunachal Pradesh state. This park is protecting forest and the swampland along the Bharali River, as well as tigers, turtles, elephants and birdlife which are in danger of extinction. Manas National Park Manas National Park is a World Heritage Site and it is perhaps one of the most stunning National Parks in India. It is located close to the border of Bhutan and on the south-east of the River Manas. This whole area is covered with patches of grassland and thick half ever-green forests and conifers towards Bhutan.
